Quality Control

All production is quality managed to ISO 9001:2015. In addition, all Amies Innovation medical components production and assembly is quality managed to ISO 13485:2016.

Amies is justifiably proud of its quality record. With the four stages of inspection, First Off, In-Process, Last-Off and Final Inspection, quality assurance is controlled from start to finish.

TRACEABILITY

Amies operates a very thorough system of traceability with document and sample back-up from all production batches. Using our new InTouch Production Monitoring System, all quality control patrol data is now inputted at-press electronically.

ACCURATE MEASUREMENT

With a Mitutoyo Quick Vision 250 Ace (fully CNC) which can measure in either conventional contact or fully optical mode, together with a second Mitutoyo CMM, Amies is at the forefront of accurate component measurement.

HIGHLY TRAINED STAFF

Our quality department produces capability studies and Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR’s) on all newly-tooled mouldings and again following any tool modifications. This measuring service is also offered to the toolmaking trade and provides the complete tool trialling and dimensional study service.

Statistical Process Control (SPC) is also applied to critical dimensions when required.

All our products are manufactured to a high standard and meet the ISO 13485:2016 accreditation and also the ISO 9001:2015 accreditation which can be viewed and downloaded here.

We pride ourselves on our ability to produce moulding products efficiently for all our customers while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

Amies operates on the policy of providing excellent customer satisfaction. We always ask our customers through surveys on how they think we did and how can we improve etc.
We then work on these results to build and enhance customer relationships by working together, listening and implementing ideas on how we can improve our service further.
