The extensive modern range of Arburg machines (15-100 tonne), maintains its renowned expertise in the production of small precision toleranced components.

With additional machinery up to 135 tonne and a policy of maintaining spare capacity, Amies is able to offer unrivalled flexibility.   This means that it can deliver on time, meet re-scheduled customer orders at short notice and satisfy demands from toolmakers requiring its tool trialling service.

Efficiency

The concept of avoiding being ‘busy fools’ enables focus to be kept on the important details, such as creating the right working relationship with its customers.   This in turn significantly reduces mistakes and results in continued year-on-year better performance and low rejection rates.

Traceability

Traceability of information is achieved through a computer-based network system. All facets of production, past and present, can be instantly accessed. This combined with a policy of saving ‘last-off’ samples from the end of each production run and a production record which records events, people and batches of materials used during the production run, makes for a complete system of traceability.

the company’s finishing department offers secondary operations, which can include assembly, ultrasonic welding, printing and insert work.
