Arburg Allrounder 570C Golden Edition

Amies M.D Bob Ball (above left), is shown here shaking hands with Roger Cox of Arburg, following receipt and commissioning of the latest acquisition to the companies impressive Plant List. The machine is Arburg’s latest ‘Golden’ edition 200 tonne model and replaces what was our biggest machine (a 135 tonne Sandretto).

Say’s Bob Ball:  ‘This now makes our mould shop a 100% Arburg line-up, and increases Amies moulding size capability. Amies have traded with Arburg for more than 20 years and I am very happy to entrust our complete faith in their machines and service package, which is second to none. Whilst I do not want to change the company’s philosophy of making small technical mouldings, this machine gives us the capability to take a package of work made up of mainly small parts with the odd bigger one thrown in, which previously we would have had to turn away. Having a shot weight of 359g (in Styrene), we can now offer to mould larger parts than before’.
